For this project, I selected my own novel and text as the basis for designing several key sections of the book. My tasks were to create the following elements of the book using only text and no images: 1) the cover, 2) the title page, 3) the table of contents, 4) the dedication, 5) a foreword, prologue, or introduction (if applicable), 6) the opening of the first chapter, and 7) a continuation spread (two facing pages). I will create the layout using standard novella dimensions of 5 inches by 8 inches per page in Adobe InDesign.

I not only took a classic book and made it modern, I also wanted to make it user-friendly for individuals who have dyslexia by using a font that does not include serifs
